Halloween Idea - Doing it Up like Big Kids
Hmmm... I really want to do it big this Halloween. I usually don't do anything other then stay home and watch Jason and Freddy Kruger movies in the dark. But this year I'm feeling festive and its only September?! I seen this picture awhile back of a girl dressed like the Joker from the Dark Knight movie.
How hard do you think it will be to find a purple well fitted size small blazer for cheaps? ... yea...Then I saw this Mary Poppins Costume idea by Keiko Lynn. How freaking cute?! I love this and its doable.
The most interesting potential Halloween make up I have seen is this really cool comic book lady make up. How creative are you to have thought of this?! This seriously looks like a lot of work and time consuming, not to
mention the lack of movement youre going to be doing. One wrong move and
BIG smudge on your perfectly position polka-dot!

Thursday: Truth In Quotes
Growing up there weren’t examples of business owners in my own family that I could’ve emulated from. The idea of becoming a business owner is one developed from within myself. It’s the idea of building something entirely from your own resources, creativity and knowledge that incites me. My parents didn’t have the luxury to dream as big as I have but they definitely dreamed for a better life. My ultimate goal is to be a person that my parents are proud to say she’s our daughter. Not because I’m successful but because with their help, they can say I was able to make something out of very little.

I miss my Kindle
Source: google.com via Susie on Pinterest
I love reading. I love reading in bed and being able to ready any book I want, when I want it. Having a kindle was so much fun. I could just whip it out during a train ride and it wasn't inconveniently heavy. I really miss my Kindle Paperwhite, 6"

Chambray Dress Refashion Ideas
What to do with this over-sized chambray dress? Obviously Ive already detached the arms but goodness this dress has been such a pain to work with. With my dress, I have a nice space to work with. Since the "supposed" waistline hits right under my belly button at my hips basically, I can use the wait string to keep it hiked up snug on my waist leaving extra working space up top but not enough to go crazy. So I think ill keep it simple to a halter or tank top style neck line. Hopefully I can draft a quick pattern soon enough and I can display the outcome :)

Dying to Tie Die ^__^
Tie Dye Inspiration-Board
Ive seen a few DIY's on how to tie dye (rhyming was unintentional, I promise lol) and I know the first thing that pops to mind is "cheesy hippie rainbow T's". But tie dye can actually be very sophisticated and grown up! And anyway isn't what the last few years have been about? taking old things and adding a modern twist? Its called vintage chic and we love it! xD
As of now I don't have any tutorials to post but Ive gotten some awesome ideas from the links below, I think you might enjoy as well. As soon as I get all my supplies I will be posting my experience with dying! sounds scary to me haha but I'm willing to try it.

Self-Tanning? Can I consider that a DIY?
I always dread when the weather starts getting warm. Everyone starts wearing shorts and skirts while I wear jeans to hide my very pale sun ridden legs -__- well eventually I get over it and ill wear my shorts, how else am I suppose to build a decent shade of bronze on my legs? Ive tried a self tanner only once in my life and never bothered to try again. Until I was snooping through my mom's closet and found a little orange bottle of L'Oreal Sublime Self-Tanning Lotion.
I thought "heck its there and there's no harm in trying it", right? I was always on the fence with these things because they are messy, slimy and some have a funky smell but L'Oreal's self tanner smelled like summer in a bottle! It applies white just like a body lotion. It says streak free but I guess you should probably apply a good amount so you get an all around even coating. It didn't leave streaks but I had uneven patches lol but that was all my fault. I wasn't seeing any fast result so i would apply a little more in the parts i didn't see a color change haha I'm ridiculous i tell you. After applying you should probably see it a change within 10-15 minutes and at 30 minutes, that should be the final color or at least that was my experience. And of course like with any other self-tanner you want to be moderate with application or you will end up looking like a carrot! ooooh that's not a good look.
